Windows in Dénia, from the old town to Les Marines
Dénia has a wide mix of homes: town houses below the castle, apartments and villas along the long beaches of Les Marines, villas on the rocky coast of Les Rotes and at the foot of the Montgó. Each asks for a different window. We supply and install them in aluminium, PVC and wood.
Homes in Dénia
The old town
In the streets below the castle and around Baix la Mar, houses are often older, with narrow façades and shutters. Wooden windows suit them well, and the town hall may have rules for what is visible from the street. We check this before you order.
Les Marines
Along the beaches to the north, apartments and villas sit close to the sea, with sand and salt in the air. Coastal finishes, good drainage and solid seals matter here, and PVC or aluminium keeps maintenance low.
Les Rotes
On the rocky coast south of the harbour, villas look straight out to sea. Large panes and sliding doors towards the view, with solar-control glass, are typical here.
The foot of the Montgó
Villas on the Dénia side of the Montgó are greener and a little further from the water, with gardens and terraces. Here insulation against the heat and the look of the house often count for more than salt.
Choosing a material in Dénia
In the old town, wood usually fits best. Along the beaches, aluminium and PVC are practical. For villas with big openings, aluminium gives the slimmest frames. The comparison of materials helps you weigh it up.
Apartments and communities of owners
Many homes in Dénia are apartments. Changes to the façade, such as a different colour or a different division of the windows, may need approval from the community of owners. Get in touch and we'll look at your situation.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work in Dénia's old town?
Yes. Older houses often call for made-to-measure windows, and wood is a common choice there. Rules for visible changes can apply; we tell you up front what is needed.
My apartment in Les Marines is right by the sea. What should I look out for?
Choose frames that cope with salt and sand, such as aluminium with a coastal finish or PVC. Keep the drainage channels clean and rinse the frames now and then. Check with the community of owners before changing the look of the façade.
How far from Dénia do you work?
We work within roughly a 30-minute drive from Jávea. That includes Dénia and the villages around it, such as Ondara, El Verger and Els Poblets.
