What do new windows and sliding doors cost?

Two windows of the same size can differ a lot in price. The main factors:

• the size and number of windows and doors;
• the material and profile: aluminium, PVC or wood;
• the glass, for example insulating, solar-control or safety glass;
• the colour and finish;
• the hardware: handles, locks and the way the window opens;
• the house itself: access, the state of the existing openings and any finishing work around the frames.

We visit, measure every opening and discuss your wishes. You then receive a clear written quote with materials, finish and timing. A deposit is due when you place the order, and the balance at handover.

Prices for PVC and wood vary more with the profile, the type of wood and the finish. We would rather give you a real figure after measuring than a range that means little. Read more on the PVC and wood pages.
